During my six month internship as a Design Assistant with the In-House Design Group at Northeastern, I had the privilege of being a part of a multimillion-dollar transformative project aimed to overhaul Northeastern's facilities to accommodate a new cutting-edge radio station and a dedicated space for the LGBTQA+ Office.
At the forefront of this venture, I assumed the pivotal role as the primary creator of the project's ever-changing 3D model and renderings. Armed with precision and technical power of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino I was able to bring to life an exceptionally detailed and accurate representation of the envisioned architectural transformation.
The evolution of this 3D model mirrored my own professional growth throughout the internship. From its nascent stages to its culmination, the model expanded in complexity, reflecting not only the tangible changes in Northeastern's facilities but also the refinement of my CAD, precision, and rendering skills.
Below, you'll find a glimpse of the architectural drawings and FFE (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) boards that capture the essence of this monumental project.
